Compaq XP1000 (Kurtz)

Kurtz is an older 64 bit Alpha workstation with 1GB of memory, two 9GB hard drives, and a CD reader. The machine originally ran Tru64.

A default install using the Sarge Release Candidate 3 Debian GNU/Linux Installer, booting from a CD was performed (3 June 2005). The CD image was obtained using jigdo-file (see Section 3.6.2).
