The Edit Menu

The Edit menu allows you to Copy, Cut, Paste and Delete objects with the common keyboard shortcuts of Ctl+C (copy), Ctl+X (cut), Ctl+V (paste), and Ctl+D (delete), respectively. Edit operations can be undone and redone. The number of undo levels is controlled by an option in File->Preferences as we saw in Section 19.4.1. The default is 15. That is, you can recover from the last 15 actions!
