Find Files Recently Modified |
20200928 Suppose you know that you have created a screenshot that generated a png file recently but can't remember where it is put.
The following find command will do a search
(-name
) for matching files modified in the last 24 hours
(-mtime
). For each file found, display the output of the
ls command using a long ISO data format as specified with
--time-style=
long-iso.
$ find . -name '*.png' -mtime -1 \ -exec ls -l --time-style=long-iso {} \; |
