Internet |
The Internet and the World Wide Web are often thought of as the same thing. However, the World Wide Web is in fact the collection of web sites that we have created as a whole world community using the hyper text transfer protocol (HTTP) and the hyper text markup language (HTML) that was developed by Tim Berners-Lee of CERN. The Internet is the overall collection of protocols and infrastructure that connects us all digitally. This chapter covers all thing Internet including setting up your own server, browsing the Internet, and interacting with the Internet.
