PDF Password Unlock |
20200309 Documents can be encrypted with a password for privacy and security. A password encrypted pdf document can be decrypted as an unencrypted pdf using:
$ pdftk d1.pdf input_pw <password> output d1_decrypted.pdf |
An alternative is qpdf from the qpdf package which will work on some encryption types that are unknown to pdftk:
$ qpdf --password=<password> -decrypt d1.pdf d1_decrypted.pdf |
