20200928 A screen cast records a window on your screen as you interact with it and captures your audio and perhaps your web cam too, as you explain what you do verbally. The result is saved as a video file which can then be shared.
Various tools support the recording of a screen caset. The simplest is SimpleScreenRecorder as covered in Section 89.10. An alternative and fully featured option is open broadcast studio (OBS) as covered in Section 89.9. OBS supports the construction of scenes wchi allow multiple audio and video elements to be overlaid.
