20221003 Reinstall gnome desktop

At some stage (prior to 20221003), probably due to a daily crontab update/distupgrade, the system reverted to a MATE login and was missing various gnome packages. A reinstall of ubuntu-gnome-desktop and gnome-shell fixed the problem after quite a few packages were installed!
