90.8 Video Extract Frame

To extract a single frame from a video is useful if you need to measure cropping pixels from the whole video as in Section 90.11.

$ ffmpeg -ss 0.5 -i input.mkv -vframes 1 frame.jpg

Here we skip a little for the beginning, identify the input file, extract 1 video frame and save it to a jpg file.
